Rebecca E. Mitchell, Esq., an Associate with Sher & Associates, P.C., is a native of Oley, Berks County, Pennsylvania. Rebecca attended Fordham University, earning a Bachelor of Arts in English and theater. She continued her education at Fordham University School of Law, where served as a member of the Fordham Urban Law Journal.
Rebecca is admitted to practice in both the state of New York and Pennsylvania, as well as the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.
Rebecca brings a unique perspective to business owners due to her background in employment law. Her experience with Title VII (civil rights act as it relates to employee discrimination), the American with Disabilities Act (ADA), the Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), the Pennsylvania Human Relations Act (PHRA) and other employer-employee conflict situations, gives her a unique perspective to assist business owners and employers in avoiding claims and disputes in the first place. Rebecca enjoys spending her free time with her husband and sons, who are actively involved in cub scouts as well as other enrichment activities the Kutztown area has to offer.
